Terms

The short version of how we work. If anything here is unclear, email contact@devlms.com before you pay.

Quotes

A quote is a fixed price for the scope written in it, valid for 14 days. Quotes from the scoping agent are reviewed by an engineer within one business day. If the real work is materially bigger than the quote, we tell you before starting, and you choose to adjust the scope, accept a new quote, or get a full refund.

Payment

Work starts after payment. Quotes under $1,500 are paid in full upfront. Larger quotes are paid 50% to start and 50% before handover of the final code. Projects planned in milestones are paid before each milestone starts. Payments are processed by Whop.

Changes

Each quote includes two rounds of changes within the agreed scope. New features or changed requirements are quoted separately.

Refunds

Full refund if you cancel before work starts. After work starts, we refund the part of the payment that covers work not yet delivered.

Code ownership

Moodle plugins are licensed under the GNU GPL v3 or later. On final payment you receive the complete source code, tests and documentation, and you're free to use, modify and publish them.

What we need from you

Timely answers and feedback, and access to any external system the plugin connects to. Delays on your side move the delivery date by the same amount.

Support

We fix bugs found within 30 days of handover at no cost. Ongoing upgrades and small changes are covered by the care plan.
